These terms and conditions apply to your use of the Mimkin website and to any order you place with us. Please read them carefully. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Mimkin Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a designer of soft toys and storybook goods, registered in England and Wales under company number 16848621. Our registered office is located at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at hello@mimkin.com.
We currently deliver within the UK only. To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
When you place an order, we will send you an email to confirm we have received it. This confirmation does not mean your order has been accepted. A contract between us is only formed once we send you a separate email confirming that your order has been dispatched. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, for example if an item is out of stock or if we spot a pricing error.
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but errors can occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error on your order, we will contact you before dispatching it. Payment is taken at the time you place your order through our secure payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately, including colours and materials. As many of our items are hand illustrated, slight variations between the images shown and the item you receive may occur. Please see individual product listings for recommended ages and safety information.

You have the right to cancel your order and return items in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Full details of how to do this, including timeframes and the returns process, are set out on our Delivery and Returns page.
All content on this website, including illustrations, text, logos, and product designs, is owned by or licensed to Mimkin Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of this content without our prior written permission.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or acting negligently, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
If you have a complaint, please contact us at hello@mimkin.com and we will do our best to resolve it. We are not currently signed up to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. If we are unable to resolve a complaint directly, you can seek independent advice from Citizens Advice.
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these terms if the delay or failure arises from an event outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, fire, flood, industrial action, or failures of postal or delivery providers. If such an event affects our fulfilment of your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your order will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may instead bring proceedings in the courts of your home country.
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date, and will apply to orders placed after that date.
